Laura Chenel’s Chevre, Inc. is a company with two brands and one mission: to handcraft local, high quality artisan cheeses. In 1979, Laura Chenel began crafting her own farmstead goat cheese. Using techniques that she learned in France and milk from her own goats, she became synonymous with quality and taste. Our sister creamery, Marin French Cheese Co. is the country’s oldest cheese company, hand-crafting artisan soft-ripened cow’s milk cheeses at our historic creamery in Petaluma since 1865.

We are looking for a motivated Regional Sales Manager to help us grow and continue sharing our love for cheese with the world.

Position Overview:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting our retail and distributor partners while helping to promote and educate on our delicious products. You’ll be the go-to person for training, product knowledge, and ensuring smooth communication between our company and those who sell our cheese.

Key Responsibilities:

• Retail & Distributor Support: Build and maintain relationships with our retailers and distributors, providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
• Product Training: Educate retail teams and distributor staff on the unique qualities of our cheese
• Program and Project Management: Manage internal and external sales projects and programs that help drive product visibility, sales performance, customer communication 
• Customer Service: Be a friendly contact for any questions or needs from our partners.

Who You Are:

• Passionate about food, especially cheese! You’re eager to learn and share your knowledge with others.
• Great communicator with a knack for building relationships.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• 1-3 years of experience working as a cheese monger, distributor or sales associate.
• Entry-level position, so we’re happy to train the right candidate.
• Positive attitude and a team player!
