Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Artisan Cheesemaker, Fluid Milk Bottler, and Drinkable Yogurt Producer to join our dedicated team. This full-time role requires hands-on experience in dairy processing, with a focus on cheese-making, milk bottling, and yogurt production. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, quality-focused, and enthusiastic about working in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce artisan cheeses following established recipes and quality standards
- Bottle and package fluid milk products efficiently and safely
- Produce drinkable yogurt, ensuring consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and production areas in compliance with safety regulations
- Monitor and control processing parameters to ensure product quality and safety
- Assist with inventory management and raw material handling
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to food safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in dairy processing, particularly cheesemaking, milk bottling, and yogurt production
- Knowledge of dairy equipment, pasteurization, and sanitation procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy loads when necessary
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Food safety certification is a plus
