Receiving

  • Pump incoming milk from tank trucks to storage tank, and compute and record volume of milk received.
  • Transfer milk to storage silos, read milk flow meter, and record volume pumped.
  • Perform antibiotic and other laboratory tests of milk and cheese samples as required.
  • Handling, moving, connecting, disconnecting, cleaning, and inspecting receiving area.
  • Prepare and standardize milk/ cream additions.
  • Prepare products within established time frame
  • Communicate any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the quality and efficiency of production.
  • Ensure all required documentation is legible, accurate, and completed in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Promote and follow company policies, safety, food safety, and quality programs.
  • Prepare and complete data entry reports
  • Minimize milk and product loss

Cleaning

  • CIP for all equipment both Cow & Goat
  • Clean and sanitize equipment using the CIP system for internal surface areas.
  • CIP Connections (hook-up and disassemble)
  • Manually clean the walls and floor area within the HTST room.
  • Wash and sanitize tank interior and exterior, receiving lines, and tanks.
  • Ensure all required documentation is legible, accurate, and completed in accordance with sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs)
